From 0 to Kubernetes – Step 1.5, nonstandard prerequisites

“Step 1.5”???

Well, on my particular setup I had to do a few additional things that are not exactly required for K3s but they were required to tie that new box fully into my local lan – I’ll just list them in bullets:

• create a local user
• add my ssh keys to authorized_keys for that user and for root
• give that local user sudo permissions
• create host entry for the appserver in my AWX instance, and in my shell ansible inv
• create the ansible_remote user and set it up with ssh keys and sudo permissions (I have a play for that)
